To All Figure Skaters
"Take your skating to the next level with blades you can truly trust."
Crafted to meet the passion of every skater, Tsubame Blades are meticulously handmade, one by one, by artisans in Tsubame City, Niigata—a region world-renowned for its master metalworking. Are you ready to take your next step with Tsubame Blade?
Proprietary Arch Structure: Fusing Strength with Lightness
While expanding a blade's surface area can increase its overall rigidity, it also adds unnecessary weight.
To solve this dilemma, the Tsubame Blade Stream series features a meticulously calculated arch design combined with strategic, fluid cutouts. This innovative structure successfully maintains the high structural rigidity required to withstand the intense impact of landings, while achieving an optimized, lightweight balance for a full-metal blade.
Versatile Mounting Holes for Your Perfect Setup
Repeatedly mounting and adjusting blades can leave your boot soles riddled with holes, shorting the lifespan of your expensive boots.
To solve this, the Tsubame Blade Stream series features an expanded pattern with more mounting holes than conventional blades, allowing you to secure them into fresh, undamaged areas of the sole. Additionally, the integrated slotted holes and open notches enable effortless, millimeter-precise micro-adjustments during your initial setup.
Artisan Precision Welding
Unlike conventional blades that rely on brazed joints or multi-piece constructions combining different materials, Tsubame Blades are structurally fused. The mounting plates and the blade body are permanently welded together by skilled artisans, creating a true, heavy-duty one-piece metal structure. This complete integration delivers exceptional structural strength to withstand intense jumps and landings, while offering skaters direct, uncompromised feedback from the ice.
Premium High-Strength Japanese Stainless Steel
We utilize premium Japanese stainless steel, a high-grade material also trusted in top-tier cutlery.
The synergy of our Proprietary Arch Design × Artisan Precision Welding × High-Strength Stainless Steel drastically reduces unwanted vibrations and blade noise on the ice. Experience a remarkably quiet, effortless glide that lets your skating flow further with every single stride.

"It feels like a blade that pushes you forward!"
"From the very first stride, it gave me this incredibly light, effortless sensation—as if someone were gently pushing me from behind. I’m definitely considering this for my next set of blades!"

"I want many people to experience this for themselves."
"When I first skated with Tsubame Blades, they glided so incredibly well that it almost felt like my body couldn't keep up. With just a single push, the skating flows and extends beautifully, and spins turn exceptionally well. My previous blades used to suffer from peeling plating and rust, but even after a full five years of use, my Tsubame Blades remain shiny and pristine. I am truly happy to be able to feel Tsubame's metalworking technology through skating. I would love for many people to experience this."
